Man Cave Health

Man Cave Health

Currently, 2.9 million men are living with prostate cancer and nearly 30,000 men each year die unnecessarily from the disease. Man Cave Health is committed to changing this statistic through various early detection initiatives, such as providing free PSA screenings for uninsured men.

BasePoint Foundation is proud to have played an instrumental role in contributing to the opening of Man Cave Health’s first facility in NYC in January 2019.  Driven by the notion that “men take better care of their cars than they do their bodies”, Man Cave Health is a destination for men seeking support for prostate health.  This sports-themed facility is a place where men can feel at ease discussing their personal health issues; it serves as a refuge for those seeking emotional support, information, screening, and treatment for prostate cancer.  With ongoing support from BasePoinbt Foundation, Man Cave Health is able to bring its mission to other cities and health systems across the country.

“30,000 men lost their lives to prostate cancer last year, and that’s a statistic that needs to change. We know that early detection makes this disease 100% curable, and I’ve made it my personal mission to change the landscape of men’s health and encourage more men to get to their doctors for annual physical exams, including the PSA blood draw.” – Tom Milana, Founder and Chairman, Man Cave Health
